Since an in-person meet and greet is not possible at this time, we’ve worked with The Mike Zimmer Foundation to offer those who have purchased tickets to benefit Maddie B’s Mission additional value for their purchase. Dear Supporters, 

On February 9th, 2017 I was diagnosed with PH+ Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia [ALL] at the age of 14. At the age of 14 my whole life changed right before my eyes. My life was now about chemo, spinal taps, pills, 2 port placement surgeries, many bone marrow biopsies, hospital stays and long nights feeling pretty crappy. It has been a hard journey to go through at such a young age, but I have blossomed into a better person because of cancer and I officially completed 34 months of treatment on Decemebr 6th, 2019.  It is my goal to help raise money to find a CURE, as there are so many people young and old that are fighting or have fought cancer. 

I am honored to say that I have been nominated as a 2020 Students of the Year candidate for the Leukemia Lymphoma Society (LLS). The fundraiser is 7 weeks, starting January 9th, 2020 to February 29th, 2020.  The student that raises the most by asking for donations, getting sponsorships, hosting events and collecting items for silent auction, gets awarded at the gala and wins a $2500 College Scholarship. More importantly, I will get to have a grant in honor of someone and I would choose my grandma as she passed away from cancer 7 months after I was diagnosed.  My team of family and friends volunteering with Maddie B’s Mission are working hard to reach my goal of $150,000. Our hope is to provide support to research new treatments and drugs for blood cancer which has affected myself and many others. In order to reach our goal we need your help!!

I am writing this letter to ask for your support of Maddie B’s Mission by making a generous donation to LLS via my fundraising website, or mail a check made out to LLS to 15308 Lynn Terrace Minnetonka, MN 55345.  You will receive a receipt for your donation and all donations are 100% tax deductible.

Why LLS you ask? Over 175,000 people are diagnosed with blood cancer a year. That’s one person every three minutes.  LLS has helped advance 34 of the 39 blood cancer treatment options approved by the FDA in 2018 investing nearly 1.3 billion dollars. Some of the drugs that came from LLS have also helped those affected by other diseases and cancers such as breast and liver cancers, multiple sclerosis and alzheimers disease.
